THE EDITOR

The entry requirements 5 GCSEs at grades 4 to 9 levels or if you don't have that you will need equivalent must include english, you will need 2 to 3 A levels, if you don't have A levels, you will need equivalent degree. The last one will be a degree in any subject for a postgrn you first start, you will start as reporter or if you don't like reportering, you can start as a journalist. THE SECTION EDITOR

The section editor, they will be putting together the magazines and newspapers. The section editor might go into the reviewing part of it so like the section, features, gossip, sports, news, and fashion. this could be any part of the newspaper. The section editor is responsible for who writes their section of the newspaper and they will need to draw the newspaper as well. The section editor is responsible for the word count, deadlines this will be all done with the writers and photographers. the section editor might have a writing headline in the job description and they might even do edit copy when those writing headline come in. The section editor usually doesn't do the writing bit, they have staff writers and evn the freelance writers. If staff needs photographers that can done also. The section editor usually gets round 40k to 60k for only top end mags or papers.

THE WRITER 

The writers have two different types of roles when working for magazine or newspaper, being a staff writer is a full time job and they expect you do be in the offices 9am to 5pm, some days you could see yourself later in the evening. The time you spend in the office you will be expected to write anything that get thrown at you and you can't turn down the work but they do get more.

THE SUB EDITOR

The sub editors has a job to check all the copy of proofreading, this comes from the section editors and they use the newspaper/magazines style sheet. before the sub editor has a important job because they might need to come up with headlines and standfirsts. the sub editor i might get up to 20k year. 

The photographers 

The photographers job role is to process images to be suitable for the newspapers and the magazines. the photographers will need to generate work and even keep the workflow going. photographers get up to 30k a year.

The designers

The designers has reponsiblebily to lay all the magazines for printing. they take the text form what the sub editors have given them. they earn 30k to 70k per year and only for senior jobs.

THE PUBLISHER 

the publisher oversees everything, the publisher makes sure everything is in place correctly regarding the newspapers/magazines. they do have other stuff  but that's just extra work. publisher earn up to 75k plus per year.
